Supply Chain Management Group

In general, we deal with the topic of circular economy and the related business aspects. Our research activities are closely linked to the Repair Network Graz and its participating companies and organizations.

In addition to operational models of decision support to improve the competitiveness of the companies, we also deal with strategic and structural issues. This structure is also reflected in the teaching, especially in the specialization Closed-loop Supply Chains/Sustainable Operations.

Methodologically, both analytical models and empirical approaches are used in order to adequately reflect and address the breadth of the issues. Special attention is paid to the balance between internationally recognized basic research and the local relevance of the researched results. At the interface to Operations Research, a second research focus is positioned on metaheuristics and their logistical applications, which is also complemented in teaching by a specialization in the Master's program.

The Supply Chain Management group is located in RESOWI, Building E3. It is headed by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Marc Reimann, the secretary is Karl Meister.
